Steve's been finishing up a bunch of big projects lately, including this vivid mermaid rib panel. This piece exemplifies Steve's dedication to precise, technical, and clean linework, as well as smooth and bright color blends. It also features a strong sense of depth and dimension lent by Steve's calculated drop shadows and sense of tone and light. Check it out below and make sure to ring him up in the shop today
Although Natan is generally known for his bold linework and bright colors, he does always enjoy working on some smooth, soft, muted portraits. For this particular piece, Natan utilized very soft and light planes of tone with some dark fields of black within his beard and some tight, crisp line-work in the hair and crown of thorns. Recently Natan has really been pushing a painterly kind of style in conjunction with his more graphic flourishes and finding an interesting and successful balance in pieces such as this.

Oftentimes, our repeat clients will along a friend or two who they think would match up well with our work. When Natan was finishing up the big insect half-sleeve/chest piece the other week, Luis brought in his friend Nina, who ended up booking out some time for this fun little lion fish tattoo.
Although Natan is generally pretty booked up with larger custom work, he does occasionally take some time to work on smaller, fun, one-sitting pieces, such as this one.

This past Friday, Matt tattooed this piece of a realistic raven strolling over a couple of roses on our shop friend, Donna. Always good for a conversation about music, art, or life in general, Donna was cool enough to just let Matt run ahead with this tattoo and make it something he would really enjoy working on. Matt ultimately whipped out this bright, saturated, and smooth piece, which Donna was thrilled to be the proud new owner of.

Everyone here at the shop relishes the opportunity to work on any project involving skulls. Call us predictable (seeing as how we are in the middle of Salem), but nothing beats a good skull tattoo! However, Molly recently discovered that the only thing cooler than skeleton tattoos are black and grey, conjoined-twin, fetal skeleton tattoos! Check out her work below and make sure to give us a ring if you have any creative ta
Although Natan is often knee-deep in back-pieces and sleeves, you can sometimes catch him at work on small pieces, or in this case, MICRO pieces! Check out this tiny realistic turtle that Natan tattooed on a woman's foot a little while back. Even if you're not yet ready for a massive, multiple-sitting tattoo, make sure to book out your time with Natan if you have an
Matt Maguire just finished up this multiple-sitting realistic Steve Irwin portrait last weekend. Hot on the heels of all the black and grey portraiture he's been cranking out lately, Matt was more than happy to dive into this color realism piece. Utilizing the first few sessions to lay down the majority of the tonal composition and information, Matt dialed in all of the color and fine tuned everything to completion this last Saturday. Ch
Our go-to illustrative/painterly guy, Matt Maguire, broke out this realistic tiger lily right on the spot today. It was a fairly slow day in the shop until our new friend and client, Michelle, came by in hopes of getting some cover-up work. Initially stuck with an old tattoo of the word “Dude” upon her wrist (as in “Dude, sweet!”), Matt was more than happy to help Michelle out by rendering this flower right over it! Check out the before and after photos below to see the stencil placed over the old lettering and the final finished product with the dude out

Natan has been working away on a whole new crop of work lately. Check out the following pieces he has recently finished up:
Cock fight backpiece
Big and bold, this backpiece on the friendly Will Means speaks for itself; an old fashioned cock fight! All black and grey with an attention to line density, repeating patterns and varying textures, this piece was just finished up the other week.
Tribal Battle Axe
Steve Johnson soldiered through this large tribal battle axe piece on his ribs in one long sitting from Natan. Check out the soft black 'n grey shading lending a bit of a sculptural and three dimensional shape to the organic patterns.
In addition to all of the projects Natan has been finishing up lately, he also has a number of multiple-session, larger pieces in the works. Check out some of his progress shots from a handful of his repeat customers below:
At 85 years old, Colorful Bill is still chipping away at a full-body suit. Sporting a whole lot of work from Natan, Bill has become quite a regular at the shop, swinging by every week or so to hang out, chat, and usually book up some more time. Here's a peek at the latest work he's gotten.
Tribal with skull
A returning client with large sections of bold tribal work from Natan, John stopped by the other day to add in some more stuff. You can never go wrong with skulls, ever.
In progress for only the last month or so, this koi half-sleeve is steadily approaching completion. Utilizing fundamentals of traditional Japanese designs for the foundation of this tattoo, Natan has been having a blast exploring different avenues of color theory and design to customize this piece.
Natan is currently booking out for any medium to large, creative, custom pieces, so give us a call at 978 744 9393 or stop on by the shop and we'll get you a spot on the schedule today!
Check out this new tattoo completed by Natan in one session last week; Harley Davidson shield with some flames, American flag, and a “One-Life, One-Ride” banner. Starting with just the original simple concept of a Harley logo on a client's forearm, Natan elaborated upon this piece by incorporating some bright, colorful, and organic background elements to contrast the more geometric and muted Harley shield. Natan is currently booking out for December and January so make s
