Well, 2016 has been a fun one but I think we’re all grateful for the holidays and the start of a new year. We are definitely grateful for everyone who has supported us this past year and are eager to give back! We want to show how much we appreciate your business and also your trust in creating beautiful pieces of art by having a very special sale this week: All of our Gift Certificates will be 20% off!!
We hope you will take advantage of this once-a-year special, to give the gift of beautiful body art to your friends, family, and of course yourself. Gift Certificates can be purchased online, in the studio and over the phone: 978.744.9393.
We are truly grateful for you all and hope you have a wonderful holiday season!!
We are a studio full of artists, and even our front desk team fits that description. It is great to have such a creative team to work around.

Leading up to the holiday’s we are showcasing the artwork of our tattoo artists, sharing pieces that they have available for purchase currently. Gifting art is a very thoughtful and personal way to show someone how much you care about them, especially if you know they would love one of these original paintings.
Jaesun is a classically trained painter and has finally decided he’s ready to let go of some of his older paintings to make room for new work he is starting this winter. He also has a few Giclee prints available, and can occasionally be talked into doing commissioned work.
The holiday shopping season officially kicks off this weekend, and I am excited to share some of the 2-dimensional art our tattoo artists have created, which are currently for sale. I know it can be tricky to find a unique gift, especially for those hard to shop for friends and family, but Art can be a really thoughtful and personal gift to give anyone.
Here are a few of Steve Gillespie’s currently available Watercolor pieces, done in a traditional tattoo art style.
Stop by the studio or email if you see a piece that catches your eye!!
We here at Witch City have decided to give you the early holiday gift of easing your shopping stress. Black Friday is the official beginning of the holiday shopping season, which quite frankly, stresses most people out. FEAR NOT! We have compiled a list of reasons why you should skip the mall madness (or most of it, at least) and go for a Witch City Ink gift certificate as a gift for your friends and loved ones.
1. While most gift certificates/cards are considered impersonal, it’s the opposite when it comes to a gift certificate for a tattoo. You know that the person will be using it on something that will last them an entire lifetime, and they’ll always look at their ink and think of you too!
2. We get a lot of people who come into the shop and tell us that they’d love to get their next tattoo, but can’t bring themselves to spend money on themselves until after December. How selfless! Why not help give them the thing that they are too nice to get themselves this time of year?
3. It’s an easy process. We’ll have you in and out of the shop in no time.
4. Even better: If you’re an out-of-towner, you can purchase a gift certificate via telephone, and we’ll mail it right out to you.
5. They’re valid here at Witch City Ink, and also over at our sister shop Lightwave in Saugus.
6. We are awesome. Tattoos are awesome. The recipient of your gift will fully understand that YOU are also awesome (if they haven’t figured it out already).
7. They might be the best possible gift you can get someone. Well, second to this:

Salem seems like a completely different town after Halloween has passed. It’s as if it begins preparing to hibernate once November 1st hits. It’s so quiet without parades of visitors, costumed attractions, and mock-witch trials. Not that it’s completely dead. Many businesses are still open and will continue to be throughout the winter months, so if you’re planning an off-season trip, you’ll still have plenty of things to do!
As for Witch City Ink, we will remain open 7 days a week, doing what we do best from 12 noon to 8pm. If you’ve been putting off your next appointment in an attempt to avoid the Salem insanity, you’re now in the clear! Yes, this even means that parking will be a lot easier.
Here’s a couple of things that Molly has done recently. I think that the first one should be referred to as a cheshire cat-o-lantern. Don’t you agree?
You know what else comes after Halloween? The even scarier season that most of us dread? The holiday shopping months. But as usual, we’ve got you covered with gift certificates. You can purchase them for any amount you desire. Gift certificates/cards can seem impersonal, but not when it comes to tattoos. There aren’t very many gifts that will last a lifetime, but ink is certainly one of them! If you’re an out-of-towner, you can even purchase a gift certificate over the phone, and we’ll ship it out to you on the same day (Sundays and holidays excluded, of course).
And for anyone who missed out on this year’s Boston Tattoo Convention, we still have plenty of tees in stock. Come on by or give us a call if you have any questions about adding these things to your shopping list!
